By the way, George Bernard Shaw among others suggested much the same thing early in the last century. This isn't a new idea.
Of the 4 webcasters you can see in this image, 3 of them fit right in with the archetypes of "Social" as envisioned by JTV, the two girls giggling and flirting on their laptop. That's just an example of what I meant last night when I said that JTV is "catering" to a younger demographic than it used to. ""Attracting" might have been a slightly better word than "catering", but the end result is the same. My crotchety old self is not feeling the JTV love. (OtC viewers, that comment is not directed your way. I do feel your love.) I hope this VaughnLive move works out. I think it will.
Maxine asked a question last night that I want to repeat the answer to here. The move to VL won't affect this website at all other than me having to update some of the information. I'll still put up the Source and Tonight's Playlists. I'll continue posting the past show themes. I'll keep blogging as the urge strikes. And anyone will still be able to use the Contact form to send me a message. Also, my Skype and Facebook info won't change. You guys can't get rid of me that easy! Someone will have to euthanize me first.
