"Holding Out for a Hero" first appeared on the soundtrack album for Footloose in 1984 and then appeared on a Tyler album Secret Dreams and Forbidden Fire in 1986. I usually avoid soundtrack albums because they are more time-consuming to tag, they often have a lot of filler material (chase scene music, etc.), and the good songs usually pop up on the regular artist album. I have a couple of Bonnie Tyler albums on disk, but Sweet Dreams wasn't one of them, I'm sure because I just hadn't encountered it yet.
However, both titles are now in my collection in case there ever is another occasion to play them. And in Tyler's case, as a 70s-80s-90s artist who doesn't make horrible music, I'm increasing my coverage of her in general.
